SuperStar Barbie was not the first smiley doll but the most known with her big toothy smile. After her debut we have seen quite the variety of smile faces, one crazier than the other,. Some people feel intimidated and scared of some of them. I find most cute in one way or the other. Some are hugely smiling, others a shy version of a smile. One thing I am not entirely on par with when it comes to toothy mouths, is when the teeth are painted onto a closed mouth. I am missing a few smiley faces here. One that supposedly is a painted-on-toothy grin but it has to be a revised closed mouth, as they for sure are molded teeth, while the original has a closed mouth.
