My Swedish Designs - Boy costume (Sverigedräkten)

My li'l Oskar is showing his new gear (that is the first and really a proto so far!), a Sverigedräkten for boys. Just as the girl-costume his vest has embroidered daisies in the front. A pair of yellow kneelength pants over white stockings and black shoes. He has borrowed that white hose and white blouse from the girls and I added a blue/yellow tie. |
| A closer look at the tie and the Daisies on the vest. As you can see the fabric is pretty thick so it's hard to make it without fraying. I am working on a second vest and hope it will be less frayed. Can't be seen here though. This has to do with the thick fabric and that I have to cut the fabric so close to the hem so it won't get too bulky. Might have to cope with that though. |  |
