The My Scene dolls have changed some during their lifetime. The boys have had a closed mouth and an open mouth smile as well as molded hair. Some of the dolls with the closed mouth sculpt have no year mark, while others are marked 2004. These are two different sculpts from what I can tell, with the 2004 marked one being wider or more square, but I keep them on the same page anyway.
