This sculpt is no favorite of mine - and same with many of the Kelly Kollectors around the world. The common feeling was "don't fix what isn't broken". Everyone loved the cute li'l Kelly but this monstroeus creation was, to say the least, less loved. In hindsight the dolls can be cute but that is because we are indoctrinated with all kinds of huge headed dolls. She still is no Kelly doll in my book, but an interesting part of the Barbie history. Maybe. I will never see them as Kelly dolls. A small doll friend or something, but never Kelly herself.

not a Tommy doll per se...

Mermaids

There were baby mermaids and baby merfairies released after the LemonHead Kelly dolls was discontinued. They work fine for this kind of dolls. Still weird but OK.
