Other Mattel® dolls

Starr and her friends from Springfield High School, Kelley, Tracey and Shaun were predecessors to Jazzie and her High School friends. When I received a loose Shaun doll the other day, I decided to add these as well, as I already had a Starr doll in box. Taking her out to photograph, I noticed her legs had gotten all sticky and icky where the twisters sat so I removed them! Icky!

Timeless Treasures series from 2001-2002: When I Read I Dream dolls were made from the same body molds as Stacie and Todd. All of them were also made with a totally new head mold, marked 2000 in the neck.

Mattel also got the license from Warner Brothers to make the smaller Harry Potter dolls, also using the Stacie body mold. These dolls should really be categorized as celebrity dolls due to them being based on the actors more than the book characters but I wanted to have them here for the size aspect. There have been a few "series" released of the HP dolls. The first group consisted of Harry, Hermione and Ron, all dressed in their black school cloaks. That is the only Ron released so far. Harry and Hermione have been seen a few times, Harry in three releases and Hermione in four - the last talking! Two different molds has been used for Harry and Hermione as they had a closed mouth from start but got an open smile in the Wizard Sweets release. In time for the third movie, Harry grew but I have no such doll.

Lady LovelyLocks was a collection Mattel released in the late 1980's. Lady LovelyLocks was the Princess of the "Kingdom of LovelyLocks" and she had a lot of friends - all made with the same body as Todd and Stacie but with a variety of head sculpts. They all came with a lot of hair play items, as the "Pixie Tails" etc.

Ron here only came in the first series of dolls and is pretty hard to find.
What bothers me most is that he does not have RED hair as the original movie character (and book character!) has. The doll has a brownish/mustard two toned hair.

Lady LovelyLocksTM

Lady LovelyLocks was a blonde girl with bright blue eyes.
Prince StrongHeart is the only boy in the lot. I found a loose doll in girl's clothes and can only dream about his original outfit. He seems to have been made from the same sculpt as LLL herself but my Lady LL is tucked away at the moment so I can't compare!

The Princess LovelyLock had a few maiden friends. This should be Maiden HairFair in one version or another.
Another Maiden friend. I am no expert but my "intel" says me this is Maiden GoldenWaves, although her hair is far from the yellow I have read she should have. It's more platinum blonde, but with the right blue streaks in it.
