Girls in Gowns.

Midge is wearing a dark purple silkgown with a
green flower-lace overskirt and puffarms. Sea Holiday Barbie in the middle is wearing a blue metallic cocktail-dress of the same strange pattern as the pink silkdress on Page 4:2. Hair Fair Barbie's skirt is made of an interchangable fabric. It's purple/black on one side and red/black on the other. Here it's the purple side out and her top is made of the same kind of metallic fabric as the blue one. |

Troll Barbie is wearing the second gown I have
ever made. The skirt is cut in one peice and sewn of a deep blue silk
with black velvet-dots and lined in a slightly brighter blue fabric. The
bodice is sewn in two layers with a lace ontop. Shani is dressed in something my daughter called a Flying jacket. For description see Page 7:6. These two dresses are made from the same pattern (a Burda). Teresa to the right is wearing one of my favorite gowns made of bright orange satin in the skirt and the bodice of a gold-lamé fabric with the same orange color in the bottom. |

Malibu Barbie is dressed in a real
christmasdress with a plaid roundcut skirt and a polysilk bodice with
puff-sleeves. Shani same as above. Kira to the right is dressed in the
yellow dress that is seen on Page
4:4. I added a jacket sewn in one
piece. It's a black fabric with a "plaid" pattern of
yarnthreads in yellow, red, blue, green, purple. Glitter Hair Barbie sitting down is dressed in a twocolored 'pantskirt' made of an old scarf. It's yellow/orange. Her sleeveless tie-blouse is a cottonplaid in different red colors with a goldthread weaved into it. |
