The Wizard of Oz - Munchkins ©1999

The Wizard of Oz is one of the most popular movies in the US and there have been numerous dolls and series of dolls made with characters from the movie. Kelly joined the long row of dolls in 2000 (©1999) with three munchkins. There were two boys and one girl - a new thing, Kelly is usually outnumbering Tommy. We have Tommy as the Mayor Munchkin in a high top hat and painted moustasche. He doesn't have any rooted hair, but rather some molded locks in the forehead and all painted brown. Tommy is also Lollipop Munchkin in a plastic "wig". I am unsure how his hair is fastened, it's like a cap of hair, painted yellow. He is wearing blue and carries a huge cardboard lollipop. Both boys have sewn felt shoes. Kelly plays the role of Lullaby Munchkin, in curly red hair and wears a pink lamé tut and hat with frills. She has pink mother of pearl Mary Janes.
The box liners have different backgrounds, somewhat joining each other for a nice look when put together.
