The Fashionistas line has always been including and collectors were happy to see Mattel giving the wheelchair born kids dolls to identify with. These are not the first wheelchair dolls ever produced, as we had Becky some years back, but this is the first time we see Barbie and later Ken in a wheelchair. In a variety of skintones too. What collectors giggled most about, is the fact these dolls, presumably the least moveable, got Made-to-Move bodies, while the regular Fashionistas have stiff no-bend-anything bodies. A lot of these are picked up for head swaps.
