Barbie's 65th Anniversary gave us a series of tribute dolls in the Fashionistas line, both Barbie and Ken dolls. The outfits are a Fashionistas take on the old fashions through the years. We got a new face as well and a variety in body types.
I got the Quick Curl doll much later (no 224) and she got the backdrop changed. My doll doesn't have the picture of the 1973 Quick Curl doll in the box and it's copyrighted in 2024. Another note regarding the 214 and 224. They come with different head sculpts, 214 has been found with two different sculpts and 224 was said to have the same head. Well. She does, as the second version of 214.
