Creatable World was a short lived concept - as many of Mattel's specialty
series. These dolls are gender free and you could implement whatever you
wanted to them. The dolls all have the same features but come in an array of
skin and hair colors. They all have rooted hair, but in a short do. Each
doll come with a wig to give them longer hair.
All the first round of DeLuxe Kit tolls were re-released in a Character
Starter Set, with only the doll dressed in shorts and linen and a wig in the
box. No extra clothes. Another difference was that the Starter dolls hade
another colored top. The DeLuxe sets came with black tops, while the Starter
dolls had grey, purple or yellow tops.
