Barbie Basics continued into 2026 but the little black dress and matching black outfits was changed to a neutral coloring setup. Beige, tan, brown, gold. The Kits are designed by Carlyle. The difference from last year, is that there is one body and three heads in the Kits. The heads all have rooted hair. Kit 002 is AA with a Dancer body (Mattel calls this Athletic) and the skin tone matches one of the Basic separate dolls; JJX28 with Curvy body, Model 09.
The accessories are partly the same as last time, but in new colors.
Still waiting for information who designed the singles.
