Kelly Club: "Circus Theme" 2000-4 Fourth batch of 2001 (©2000) was circus themed. Now this set you'd think they could have printed Circus on as it is almost the same all over. Nopes. But the dolls had a title. We saw the RingMaster Tommy in the center of the ring with a group of artist surrounding him. You had Belinda, the Clown that was sold with her hair in two setups, one had plain, slick hair and one had two front buns pulled upp in rubber bands. The slick hair was sold in the US and the one with the knots is Canadian. Maria and Tamika were trapeze Performers dressed alike. Tamika was renamed Tabitha when she crossed the Canadian border (Canada and Europe often had the same variations, but I am not sure the Circus dolls were sold in Europe). The last two girls were Liana and Desiree as lions, with variations in their costume. The furry parts came in two lengths, the ones seen in the full set photo are the longer haired ones. More and detailed photos in my (Swedish) blog. © Dolls and photos all belong to me, unless otherwise noted.
