Li'l Friends ©1997 - 1 The first series of 1998 (©1997) had six dolls of which Tommy was one! We got a boy in the ranks of the single boxed friends. There were also two Deidre dolls dressed in same outfits as a Caucasian counterpart, Chelsie and Melody/Susie. The dolls have spots in the soft plastic of their heads. It's especially visible in the Deidre dolls, but also Tommy has some even if less visible. This happens in some plastic over time. The plastic parts separate somehow and the dolls gets a dusty and somewhat glittery surface. Could perhaps be removed just by handling the dolls, but that I wont swear to. I see it a lot in AA dolls.
