Mattel was not the first company to make Cher dolls. MEGO made a few in the
70's with a good likeness to the striking singer/actress as she looked back
then. In the 00's Mattel had Bob Mackie designing new dolls, with the Barbie
body she was more delicate than the MEGO dolls. The face sculpt looks like
Cher in her later years, after numerical surgeries. It's a stunning doll. I
only wish I could get my hand on her Half Breed doll too.
