As I type this I am not sure why this is referred to as the "New SuperStar" head. As far as I can tell Western Fun and Dance Magic were the first two Ken doll to be used with this sculpt. Maybe, because it reminds of the older SuperStar Ken. All that aside... Ken looks different, younger from the precious 83 head. His hairdo (molded) is a bit more modern and not so helmety.
