The Heart Family was a sideline, outside of the Barbie set of dolls and this is one of actual few "old people" we have seen made. The grandparents were only made for the caucasian family, not the AA Heart Family.

Heart Family Grandpa had a new head mold, marked 1986, with some aging to it. There are age lines on his forehead and "bags" under his eyes. He has molded hair that is painted in a salt and pepper color and a closed mouth smile.

Besides Grandpa this head has been used for a Disney character, the trapper Davy Crockett (my guy is missing his whole outfit but the furry hat, if you happen to have one to spare).
