Teresa was Barbie's Hispanic friend and she was by her side for decades, until the ring of friends exploded. Most disappeared and new came along. Initially she was made with the sculpt known as the Spain face, or Spanish, first seen in the DotW Spanish Barbie. A bit later, she was seen with Steffie's features until she got a face of her own, the one we call Teresa today, although Hispanic Barbie dolls also were made with it simultaneously.

The promo shots of this girl showed her with the original 1990 Teresa face, but the dolls released (or at least the only ones I have seen to date) were made with the Mackie face, just like some of the Midge dolls in the same series - and of course Barbie herself).
