Midge Copyright: 1958 Live Action Christie |
SuperStar Copyright: 1976 SuperStar Christie
Steffie Copyright: 1971 Sunsation Malibu Christie (also made with the Spanish face, seen further below)
Kissing Copyright: 1991 Kissing Christie
Spanish Copyright: 1982 Sunsational Malibu Christie (most common was the Steffie sculpt, seen above)
Christie Copyright: 1987 This was the most commonly used sculpt for Christie and she was first seen in the Island Fun series in 1988, with this new face.
Shani Copyright: 1990 Sparkle Beach Christie |
Asha Copyright: 1990 Many collectors, younger than I, consider Christie dolls with this face being the "true Christie", but to me it's just a face she borrowed from Asha, which in reality, is the truth. But it has been used since 1998, until Christie disappeared altogether in 2006-07.
Nichelle Copyright: 1990 Florida (Vacation) Christie
Goddess Copyright: 1998 This doll may or may not be Christie. She could just be a no name Fashionistas doll under the Barbie logo. We have seen her named Christie by Mattel, so that is what she is to me, no matter what.
Simone Copyright: 2021 Bill Greening designed the jubilée doll in time for Christie's 50th anniversry. He used one of the latest dolls sculpts to celebrate this glorious jubilar, the Simone sculpt from the LOOKS series.
